The Exhibition is open 7 days a week and hours are subject to change. Check our ticketing page for the most up-to-date schedule!
The Exhibition is self-guided, and we expect guests to spend 60-90 minutes exploring.
For sessions sold in 30 minute increments, you will have the full 30 minute window to arrive for your session. If you are later than 30 minutes, we will be able to accommodate you in the following session as long as space allows.
Tickets for the Exhibition provide one-time entry. Once guests are inside the Exhibition, they may not re-enter. Should a guest need to step out of the Exhibition for an emergency, please notify the nearest staff member.
All guests age 15 years and under should be accompanied by a guest of at least 16 years of age.
Guests of all ages can experience Harry Potter: The Exhibition, however, some immersive elements may be scary for young audiences.
Yes! We encourage visitors to celebrate the Harry Potter series by dressing up. Wands are also permitted inside the Exhibition. Please share your photos with us using @harrypotter_exhibition and #HarryPotterExhibition!

Subway: 34th St – Herald Square subway station is a quick 1 min walk from the venue.
Bus: bus stop for lines M5, M7 and M55 at Ave of the Americas/W 34th St is a 1 min walk from the venue.
Timed-Entry Tickets: Choose this ticket type to enter on your selected date at any time during your chosen 30 minute window. For instance, if you purchase a 1:00pm ticket, you may enter anytime between 1:00pm and 1:30pm. Select a date from the calendar, then select what time range you’d like to attend (morning, afternoon or evening). From there, select your preferred time session.

VIP Tickets: Upgrade to VIP and receive admission at any time on your selected date via dedicated VIP entry queue along with other VIP perks. All guests ages 3 and up require a ticket for entry. Guests ages 2 and under will need a complimentary children’s ticket to enter. Please note that complimentary child tickets must be reserved at the time the rest of your party is booked. Due to restrictions within the venue, strollers are not permitted inside the New York City Exhibition.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition is committed to the health and safety of our staff and guests. As such, all local, state, and territorial regulations are followed in each venue.
Yes! Each location is accessible to guests with limited mobility. For guests with hearing disabilities, closed captioning subtitles are available on most of the galleries’ media screens.
Guests with sensory sensitivity should be aware that the Exhibition features ambient music, sound bites from the films, non-strobe flashing lights, motion triggered sound and video, and other media moments throughout.
Due to restrictions within the venue, strollers are not permitted inside the New York City Exhibition.
Only service animals are allowed in the Exhibition. If you have any questions, please reach out to our team here.
Because we are showcasing authentic props and costumes from various Harry Potter productions, displayed items will vary by venue.
